This Pueblo Clown came after the elections. It was the first time in my entire life that I felt unashamed to be part of this country. There was a sense of real pride that the people could pull together and get Obama elected. There was a new sense of hope after hundreds of years of repression and betrayal, the people could once again feel that who we are might matter.
